A data-driven solution for a more precise understanding
of bruxism and clenching habits
Goodeeps is a smart wearable device designed for both general consumers and clinical environments. While not classified as a medical device, it can be integrated into dental clinics as a premium service through the following model:
How Dental Clinics
Can Use goodeeps
- Lend the goodeeps device to patients for 3–5 days
- Automatically collects muscle activity data during sleep
- After return, the clinic generates an analysis report based on data stored on the cloud server
- The report can be used as a reference during consultations and the product may also be sold to patients
Case Examples
for Consultation
Support
- Use the device before and after splint or Botox treatment to observe changes in
- muscle activity during sleep and provide clear explanations to patients using data
- Visualizes typically unnoticed habits like bruxism or clenching, motivating patients
- for treatment and enhancing trust during consultations
Operational
Highlights
- No upfront cost — just an affordable monthly subscription
- Helps clinics differentiate themselves from competitors by offering an exclusive, high-value service
Goodeeps is a smart wearable device designed not only for detection and feedback but also for
recording and organizing masticatory muscle activity during sleep. When a patient visits a clinic
and opts in for the service, a non-medical “Sleep Masticatory Muscle Activity Analysis Report”
is generated based on data collected through the rented device. This report is accessible via a
dentist-only web portal and can be used as a reference during consultations.
- Time-specific patterns of bruxism events
- Number of temporalis muscle contractions exceeding the threshold, with analysis charts
based on American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines
- Sleep start/end times and total sleep duration
- Total muscle contractions with visualized graphs
This report is based on data collected by a smart
wearable device designed for habit monitoring and
is not intended for use as a medical device or
diagnostic material.
The analysis provides a reference for the user’s
masticatory muscle activity. Medical diagnosis or
treatment decisions should be made by a qualified
healthcare professional.
